Overview

This video provides the learner an overview of ION-U, one of ANDREW’s DAS platforms. ION-U supports multiple operators, frequency bands and technologies via one unified, low- and high-power system.

Target Audience

Wireless operators, and ANDREW partners and System Integrators.

Objectives

After studying this video, the student is expected to be able to:

• Understand the Architecture,
• Components and Connections for the ION-U system. 
• Determine the routing of subrack cabling, subrack controller options, Ethernet vs. bus communications, rules of subrack addressing and cabling. 
• Understand the ideal DAS deployment process.
